Sota VPN access key: how to get a key for Sota Connect

Step by step

1. Open the dashboard. On the Log In screen press Generate, then Yes, register. If you already have a key, just enter it and log in.
2. Your Account Number appears. That is your key. Press Copy or Download .txt and keep it somewhere safe, for example in the notes on your phone. Tick I confirm that I've saved my key number and press Continue.
3. On the dashboard home page press Buy subscription. The payment page opens. Pick a term (1, 3, 6 or 12 months) or the 7-day trial for 1.49€ if you're a new user. Enter an e-mail for the receipt and pay. Without a subscription the key won't connect to the servers.
4. Go back to the dashboard. The Access section shows your Account Key with a copy button and How to install key? links for every platform.
5. Install Sota Connect (the links are under Download VPN), paste the key into the field on the first screen and press Confirm. One key works on every device, up to 10 at the same time.

Good to know

• The key is also your dashboard login: anyone who has it can enter your account and use the VPN on your subscription. Don't forward or post it.
• The key cannot be recovered: registration needs no e-mail or phone, and support doesn't store keys. Save the .txt file right at sign-up.
• You can get the key before paying, it's free. The subscription is attached later. The trial is available once only.
• The same key goes into the Cancel subscription form in this site's footer. It turns off auto-renewal.

Yes. Sota Connect is the app of the Sota VPN service. The key you log in to the dashboard with is the one you paste into the app.

Can I get a Sota VPN key for free?

The key itself is free and is created in a second. But it only connects with an active subscription. New users get a 7-day trial for 1.49€. Keys found online belong to other people's accounts, don't use them.

I lost my key, what now?

Support cannot recover a key, because registration is anonymous. Message support on Telegram and they'll advise what to do about your subscription. A new key is created in the dashboard in a second.

The app doesn't accept my key, what should I check?

Make sure you pasted the whole key, with no spaces before or after it, and that the subscription is active: its status is shown on the dashboard home page. If it's inactive, pay for it and try again.
